Update

Ok, so this is how this is going to work: no more gratitudes! The mere thought of trying to come up with something that I need to explain to a BLOG was rendering me incapable of keeping a BLOG so I am just going to do what I want with this thing, when I want. There, I said it.

On that note...todays post!

See below, I have added a few finished pieces to my stitching collection. I am working on finishing a quick stitch piece for Boo`s teacher.

Maple Leaf Montage by Lynne Nicoletti

The first of my pieces to hang at my LNS. I customized this pattern to suit myself, as usual. Finished March 1, 2007.

Knotwork Samplers - Simplicity by Stitchin'Spiration

Started March 22 (the day before my carpal tunnel surgery), back from the framers May 30. Backstitching with black, 1 thread over 2 on 32ct olive linen. It was fun, satisfying and a bit more challenging than I expected (for a person with one hand).

Cherry Blossom Spring Stitching Set by The Cats Whiskers

Started May 1, finished May 27. On 28ct Antique White Cashel Linen with 1 skein Needle Necessities Floss Overdyed 116 Arctic Nights. I took a few strands and bleached them to be the lighter colour and made sure to maximize my thread usage so I wouldn't run out. I had enough left to make the twisted cord you see because I used white thread to assemble it instead of the blue. I like it better this way :0). Finishing instructions were quite clear, I may try another project by this company.
